Roma - Hostal Orsa Maggiore for Women Only

Orsa Maggiore is a brand new hostel in Rome only for female guests. It's located in the heart of Rome (in the lovely neighborhood of Trastevere), in a 16th century ex convent and it's part of the International Women's House (Casa Internazionale delle Donne).

It consists of some large, quiet rooms full of light, decorated in modern and functional style. There are single or double rooms, and a few for multiple occupancy. Each room has a view -- of the Gianicolo, of the rooftops of ancient Rome, of the seventeenth century cloister.

A tasty expanded continental breakfast served in a comfortable room is included in the price.



Guests can relax in the ample House garden under the centuries-old magnolia and taste the menus offered either by the Restaurant “Luna e l’Altra”.



Orsa Maggiore is located in a characteristic neighbourhood, Trastevere, one of the attractions of ancient Rome, full of cinemas, theatres, bars, small restaurants, and artisan shops, hence an ideal spot for a taste of everyday city life.

Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, St. Peter, the Vatican Museums, and other places of artistic and historical interest, can be reached in few minutes.



A quite place for Women Only in the centre of Rome. Nice and friendly staff. A good low cost solution to spend a few days in Trastevere, the heart of Rome.
